It is the City of Columbus’ goal to create livable communities that are safe and enjoyable for all citizens, whether you walk, ride, or drive. In order to achieve this goal, a community mobility planning effort has been established to determine possible solutions to achieve a more balanced transportation infrastructure.

Street Sweeping

The Division of Planning and Operations' Street Maintenance Section begins the annual street sweeping program each April.  Street cleaning is done on a citywide non-posted basis and also in five Columbus neighborhoods that involves posted parking restrictions.
